HOME VISITING SERVICES
Our home visiting program provides mental health services for all members of households where a primary caregiver may have a mental or physical condition, cultural belief, or difficult circumstances that prevent them from leaving home to attend a mental health clinic on a regular basis. Home visits can help members of the household stay out of the hospital or more intense therapy by dealing with the problem early on, before it escalates due to the patient’s inability to attend clinics regularly. Our multicultural, multilingual staff provides professional and skilled counseling for adults and children.
Our dedicated home visiting program offers a lifeline to individuals and families facing unique challenges that make it difficult for them to access traditional mental health clinics. We understand that physical or mental conditions, cultural beliefs, or difficult circumstances can limit their ability to attend regular clinic appointments. That’s why our compassionate team provides comprehensive mental health services right in the comfort of their own homes.
With our home visiting services, we aim to prevent hospitalization or the need for more intensive therapy by addressing mental health concerns early on. By intervening at the onset of issues, we can minimize their impact and provide support to individuals and families when they need it most.

Home Visiting Services for Children
IDCC also facilitates a specialized home-visiting program for children who cannot regularly attend necessary care visits. We will provide care managers who help children and their families, acting as an advocate for their various needs.
Managers will orchestrate a care team that may include a therapist, psychiatrist, para-professional, teacher and or counselor to ensure the child’s health needs are taken care of. Additionally, they can help coordinate government programs such as food stamps and provide educational information concerning the child’s diagnosis.
At IDCC, we recognize that some children face unique challenges that prevent them from regularly attending necessary care visits. Our specialized home-visiting program is designed to bridge this gap by bringing essential care directly to the child and their family’s doorstep.

To qualify for IDCC home visiting program you need to have:
Children must have Medicaid or Managed Care Medicaid. Adults must have Managed Care Medicaid. Those with Dual Medicaid/Medicare, Medicare only or Commercial insurances will not be accepted.
And one of the following:
- Mental health or learning disability of client/caregiver preventing leaving home and attending therapy in the clinic
- Physical conditions of client/caregiver preventing leaving home
- Cultural issues of client/caregiver preventing client to attend mental health clinic
- Other limitations/life circumstances preventing to attend clinic
