Mental health issues can take on many forms. For some it is depression. For others it may be anxiety, ADHD, trauma, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, OCD, or other symptoms that affect one’s mood, thinking, or behavior.
According to various organizations, as many as one in five American adults struggle with mental health problems. Yet many do not seek the help they need due to the stigma associated with mental illness, concern about costs, or other reasons.
Welcome to Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center or IDCC. Our dedicated doctors, therapists and mental health professionals understand that mental illness is a true illness that must be treated.
