Conditions & Symptoms
While a long life is usually a blessing, it may sometimes come with mental health issues that affect one’s outlook on life. The loss of a loved one or coming to grips with an aging body, may bring about depression, anxiety or unhealthy episodes of bereavement. Older adults and seniors have their own set of mental health needs and experiences, different from those that are younger, and it is important to recognize these differences.
IDCC’s team of mental health professionals has experience in working with the geriatric population on a wide range of mental health issues. We believe that while life may become a bit more challenging as the body ages, the golden years can still be the very best years of our lives.
